SaaS sales & go-to-market
A good product needs
a route to market.
I help B2B technology businesses understand customers and buying processes, build new markets, and develop sales and partnerships with a clear purpose. My focus is SaaS, enterprise sales, EdTech and learning.
Go-to-market starts with the customer
Who will buy the product? Which problem matters enough for that audience to invest budget and attention? And who needs to support the decision? These questions form the basis of a viable go-to-market approach.
In the DACH market, several perspectives often need to be considered: the business need, IT requirements, procurement and contracts, works councils and senior management. An effective sales approach accounts for the entire buying process.
Moving complex SaaS sales forward
Software sales takes more than a good presentation. Target customers need to be identified, conversations started and requirements understood. Then come clear business value, the right licensing model and sound commercial agreements.
I know this work from the enterprise and education business. It involves working with different stakeholders, resolving pricing and licensing questions, and thinking beyond the deal to rollout and adoption.
Connecting market entry and partnerships
New markets can be developed through direct sales, partnerships or a combination of both. What matters is whether the route reaches the right customers and whether the partners involved see a shared benefit.
At GoodHabitz, I worked as Global Partnership Director on the international partner ecosystem, including HR systems, learning platforms and marketplaces. As a Consultant & Specialist Tutor for CEFE International, I also supported delegations from India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan through Partnering in Business with Germany, a programme of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE). I helped entrepreneurs prepare for market entry in Germany, develop cooperation projects and prepare for B2B meetings with German businesses.
Connecting the market with product and technology
Customer conversations reveal what makes buying easier, what may prevent adoption and where a product creates real value. That feedback needs to be understood and translated into useful input for product and business decisions.
My B.Sc. in Computer Science complements the commercial perspective. As a Certified AI Consultant, I also explore where AI can add practical value in day-to-day business. My coaching background helps me engage people and understand the dynamics between different functions.
From early market development to international leadership
At Rosetta Stone, I started as the first B2B employee in Germany, helped build the DACH business and later led the European Enterprise & Education business as Senior Director Europe. I know both the early work close to customers and the leadership of a larger international organisation.
Depending on the need, the work can include hands-on sales, market development, partnerships or commercial leadership. I am based in Cologne, work across the DACH region and internationally, and am open to suitable permanent roles and selected interim assignments.
